Mark Leffler has written professionally for publication since he was a high school Senior in Butler, Pennsylvania, working as a sports stringer for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. After meeting Review Editor/Publisher Robert Martin during a taping of his local PBS book show "Bookmarks", he began contributing to Review in 2000. He primarily writes about books, television and movies, but has also written feature profiles and some news. He has just launched a "Bookmarks: The Podcast, (which can be found at www.radioexiles.com) an audio version of the television show. He is also a humorist and often writes for Review about writers and artists who contributed to National Lampoon magazine. A Lampoon podcast is also planned. He is engaged to the actress Scarlett Johansson.
