Come out to the Frankenmuth Farmers Market, located next to Harvest Coffeehouse at 626 S. Main Street in downtown Frankenmuth. Our mission is to entertain, enrich and educated growers and consumers. Named one of the 10 "must see" markets in Michigan by "Michigan Travel Ideas" Magazine. FFM is a producer-only market supported by local farmers. Live music, adult and children's events and artists create a festival of community each market day! A few of the regular monthly events will include a First Saturday of the Month "Bag-Ban" to reduce the use of plastic bags, and a Third Saturday of the Month 'Harvest for the Hungry' a fresh or pantry food/monetary donation to Hidden Harvest. Junction Valley Railroad
Are you a train enthusiast, or do you just love trains? Welcome back to another fun-filled season at Junction Valley Railroad, located off I-75 at 7065 Dixie Highway in Bridgeport. We are home to the only diamond crossing trestle in the world with over 60 operating track switches, 9 fully equipped engines scaled after diesels and over 75 cars of all types and sizes. With almost 4 miles of track, the layout consists of 16 bridges, an operating tunnel over 100 feet long. Concessions cars, picnic area with grills, playground and pavilions, all available for picnics, family reunions, parties, etc. Regular Operating Hours: May 25-Labor Day; Mon.-Fri. from 10am-4pm; Saturdays from 10am-5pm; Sundays from 1-5pm. New this year we will be unveiling a new gon car, called the William & Lillian Stenger memorial car, as William and Lillian both passed away in 2012.
