Summer 'Bark in the Park' Dog Park

Held on EVERY 2nd & 3rd WEDNESDAYS IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST, from 6:30-8pm. Learn great tips on caring for your pet, meet new and other dog lovers, and let your dog play in the park! Held at Midland's only Dog Park...Chippewassee Park, located at the westerly end of the Park, near the Trilogy Skatepark and across the Tridge near the doggie run. This four-acre park is a Barking Good Time! Created in 2005 and made possible by a very generous donation/gift of $40,000 from an anonymous donor! Plans were designed by a group of interested citizens and Midland Parks & Rec. The park is fenced in and has a combination of wooded and open areas where dogs can run free! A water source during the warmer months and various agility courses are provided to make your pet's romps more enjoyable. A separate area for smaller dogs, and a gravel parking area has been added near the park. Waste bags are provided for use at the park.
