The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum is the host of the regional Biennial Juried Sculpture Exhibition, located at 7400 Bay Road University Center, on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. This exhibit, which runs now through September 22, 2012, was open to all living artists working in sculpture and residing within 200 miles of Saginaw, Michigan, with work to be entirely original and completed within the last 5 years. Four Merit Awards were distributed along with three Honorable Mention awards. Joseph Antenucci Becherer was the juror for this year's biennial. He is the founding Director and Curator of the Sculpture Program at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids and currently serves as Chief Curator and V.P. of Sculpture & Horticulture, Collections and Exhibitions.
